CPR/First Aid/AED (Adult & Pediatric)
Our First Aid courses are designed specifically for non-medical professionals who want to be prepared to assist during emergencies. These comprehensive classes cover essential first aid best practices for a wide range of situations, including asthma attacks, anaphylaxis, burns, choking, diabetic episodes, external bleeding and severe trauma, environmental emergencies, heart attacks, poisoning, neck, head, and spinal injuries, strokes, and seizures. Additionally, the training includes instruction on administering CPR and properly using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Upon completion, participants can earn certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED all in one convenient and practical class.

Hands Only CPR
Our Hands-Only CPR course is a fast, engaging 30-minute class designed to empower untrained bystanders to act confidently in a cardiac emergency. Participants will learn when hands-only CPR is appropriate and how to perform effective chest compressions until professional help arrives. With no prerequisites or age requirements, this course is ideal for community members, students, workplaces, and anyone who wants to be prepared to save a life.

Basic Life Support
The American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) course provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to assess, recognize and care for patients who are experiencing respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, airway obstruction or opioid overdose. When a patient experiences a life threatening emergency, healthcare providers need to act swiftly and promptly. The course emphasizes providing high-quality care and integrating psychomotor skills with critical thinking and problem solving to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Babysitters Training with CPR
Students learn how to create a safe environment for children, manage common behavior challenges, and provide age-appropriate care, including feeding, playtime, and bedtime routines, and guidance on handling emergencies. Students have the option to include first aid basics & CPR instruction. By the end of the program, participants will be prepared to step into babysitting roles with certification, responsibility, and confidence, offering peace of mind to parents and families.
✓ The Babysitters Training with CPR/AED/First Aid course is a 2 day course, with each day being approximately 5 hours.

Bloodborne Pathogens (Includes Tattoo Artists Course Upon Request)
Participants gain essential skills in recognizing how bloodborne diseases such as HIV and hepatitis can be transmitted and the steps required to prevent exposure. Training includes the proper use of gloves and personal protective equipment (PPE), safe handling and disposal of sharps, correct cleaning and sanitation practices, and the immediate actions to take if an exposure occurs. By the end of the course, students will be certified in Bloodborne Pathogen safety, making them compliant with OSHA requirements and better prepared to perform their duties safely in any healthcare, spa, or community care environment.

✓ Those who complete the training receive a Bloodborne Pathogens Training certification valid for one year.

CPR For The Professional Rescuer
The primary purpose of the courses in the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers program trains participants with the knowledge and skills needed to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies for adults, children, and
infants until advanced emergency medical services (EMS) professionals take over.

First Aid for Severe Trauma
Uncontrolled bleeding is the leading cause of preventable death from trauma. The First Aid for Severe Trauma (FAST) program provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need to respond to an emergency involving life-threatening bleeding, including how to control life-threatening bleeding using direct pressure, a tourniquet, or both.
The program is designed to enhance participants’ ability to take decisive, lifesaving action to assist a person with a traumatic injury and life-threatening bleeding until professional responders arrive
✓ Our first Aid For Severe Trauma course typically lasts 2 hours & 45 minutes, depending on class size.
✓ This course is $75.00 and is available In Blended and in-person format.
✓ Those who complete the training receive a Training certification valid for Two years.

Emergency Medical Response (Coming Soon)
The American Red Cross Emergency Medical Response (EMR) course is designed to provide the participant with the knowledge and skills necessary to work as an emergency medical responder (EMR) to help sustain life, reduce pain and minimize the consequences of injury or
sudden illness until more advanced medical personnel take over.
✓ The full Emergency Medical Response course is 56 hours and 10 minutes.
✓ This course is $650.00 and is only available In an in-person format.
✓ Those who complete the training receive a Training certification valid for Two years.

Reponding to Emergencies (Coming Soon)
The Responding to Emergencies (RTE) program is a semester-long lay responder program designed to help participants recognize and respond to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. The courses in this program teach the knowledge and skills
needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether
advanced medical care is needed.

✓ This course is $200.00 and is available In blended and in-person format.

Wilderness and Remote First Aid (Starting April 2026)
The American Red Cross is introducing the newly revised Wilderness and Remote First Aid program. This program is designed to teach individuals how to deal with emergency situations by using first aid skills in a delayed-help environment and has been
updated to reflect the latest emergency cardiovascular care science.
The Wilderness and Remote First Aid program is appropriate for audiences from youth-serving organizations as well as adults who participate in outdoor recreational activities or who work in wilderness or remote settings where emergency medical services (EMS) response is more than 1 hour away. The Wilderness and Remote First Aid program emphasizes experiential learning and major portions of the course will be taught in outdoor settings.

Strengthen your emergency response skills with our American Red Cross Skill Boost classes. These focused, hands-on trainings are designed to increase confidence and preparedness in critical situations for healthcare professionals, workplace responders, and community members alike.
We offer the following Skill Boost courses:

- Asthma and Quick-Relief Medication Administration
- Life-Threatening Bleeding and Tourniquet Application
